Delay in cancer screening may result in missed early-stage cancer and more advanced stage cancer may not be curable and result in poorer outcome. American College of Surgeons, in partnership with other leading cancer organizations, endorses resumption of cancer screening and treatment during COVID-19 pandemic. We at MedStar Shah Associates are joining forces with American College of Surgeons - Commission on Cancer to get our community members to seek timely cancer screening in safe setting. We urge you to discuss cancer screening with your health care provider who will direct you on the right path to living healthy life.
