WELCOME TO DIVISION OF SLEEP MEDICINE

Sleep Medicine is a medical specialty devoted to evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. A Sleep Medicine Physician possesses specialized knowledge and skills in the diagnosis and treatment of Sleep disorders. After receiving a medical degree (MD) and completing residency training, at least one year of subspecialty fellowship training is required to become a Sleep Specialist. Common conditions encountered by a Sleep Specialist are Sleep Apnea, Insomnia & Restless Legs Syndrome.
