Dr. Abiola Faniyan completed her residency in combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics from Michigan State University. Prior to residency training, Dr. Faniyan obtained a Masters in Public Health from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health which was followed by a role as Senior Quality Improvement Consultant at Boston Children’s Hospital where she was able to pursue her passion for healthcare quality delivery. Dr. Faniyan served as Administrative Chief during her final year of residency. She also served as the House Staff Well-Being Chair and resident representative on the Graduate Medical Education institutional review, Culture of Safety, and Antimicrobial Stewardship committees. Dr. Faniyan is originally from Nigeria where she completed medical school and internship.
